This role involves strategic oversight of our brand marketing, ensuring our message is consistent and impactful across all channels.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our award winning Marketing Team on a 1 year Fixed Term Contract as a Brand Marketing Manager. This role guarantees variety in day-to-day work and will be responsible for delivering an always on approach to all aspects of Brand Marketing including Creative Development, Media, PR and Customer Insight.
The Brand Marketing team work alongside the Shopper Marketing team and the Digital Marketing team in a cohesive collaborative environment so there will be ample opportunity to experience the very highest standards of work across all marketing channels.
The Woodie’s Marketing department has a strong track record having produced iconic work such as the much-loved Mrs Higgins Christmas campaign and as such will provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to hone their craft.
The ideal candidate:
6 years + experience in a consumer marketing role, in a managerial position and with experience in retail or FMCG sector.
Proven track record managing a large important Irish brand with local control.
Experience finding a creative way in, that is uniquely ownable by the brand when creating customer communications.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive a team are essential.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to manager multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proven track record managing creative, media and research agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an integrated brand marketing strategy to enhance our market presence and customer engagement.
Lead and mentor the Brand Marketing Executive, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Oversee the planning and delivery of always on ATL media, PR campaigns, and brand marketing creative to ensure alignment with our strategic goals.
Direct and manage key Brand Marketing projects, including seasonal photoshoots, CSR campaigns, consumer events, market research, packaging and employer brand initiatives.
Collaborate with and manage multiple agencies, including Creative, Design, Media, Research, and Brand Activation, to deliver a cohesive annual Brand Marketing plan.
Work closely with internal teams, including Shopper Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital, Commercial and HR, to ensure brand consistency and support business objectives.
Manage significant Brand Marketing budget including annual budget planning and setting, in year budget management, forecasting, and reporting on all Brand Marketing activities.
Ensure all marketing communications reflect the company’s values and meet legal and ethical standards
