Job Role:
The primary function of the Supervising Pharmacist is to deliver pharmaceutical services in accordance with legislative, contractual, professional, and ethical standards. This involves offering expert advice on health and medicines to patients, pharmacy staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating the dispensing process to ensure efficient service delivery
* Providing guidance and oversight to pharmacy staff, promoting effective teamwork and collaboration
* Managing inventory levels to maintain optimal stock holdings
* Ensuring accurate data verification as per store operations protocols
Required Expertise:
* Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (with no conditions attached)
* A minimum of three years' experience post-registration, preferably in an Irish retail pharmacy setting
* Previous experience as a Supervising Pharmacist is highly desirable but not essential
