Job Duties & Responsibilities
* To support service users, facilitating them to identify their goals, strengths and needs
* To support individuals and groups in accessing their community to meet identified needs by facilitating activities and programmes and any other reasonable duties as deemed appropriate by the Instructor/Programme Leader and Centre Management.
* To observe all rules and regulations of the service ensuring that all relevant Drumlin House administrative rules, regulations, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
* Minimum QQI Level 5 (full award) in Health or Social Care, or equivalent.
* Good knowledge of New Directions Standards for Day Services
* Knowledge and understanding of a range of intellectual disabilities including Autism
* 1 year minimum experience of working in a relevant setting with the experience of facilitating and implementing person centred plans
Additional requirements
* Must have good report writing skills and IT skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Full manual driving license
* Variable Monday to Friday (day time hours)
