Founding Product Engineer - TypeScript - AI Start-up k plus equity - (Possibility of a raise after additional funding rounds)
So joining a start-up there are always risks, do the founders have pedigree in previous ventures? Is there a proven MVP and financial security?
The main thing to notice that the
founders have had a successful exit previously, they are excellent at fundraising and finding their niche on the market.
This is an AI start-up, so the stack is as modern and fresh as they come. Their platform is all TypeScript based and of course the AI/ML stuff is Python based.
So I would love to chat with you if you have the following criteria
:
1. You like in-person collaboration.(They built their last company on in working in the office)
2. You have been through the start-up trenches of an early stage SaaS start-up.
3. Have been involved in an early stage start up before and been through the entire product lifecycle.
4. You thrive in a fast paced environment where use cases and requirements can change fast.
5. You are agnostic to the tool and framework to get the work done.
6. You are a self starter.
7. Generally be sound and a nice person.
Technically speaking you will have experience with as many of these:
TypeScript - (React/Next)
Have a smidgen of backend, it is a very frontend leaning role. (Node)
Can take ownership of the frontend engineering and architecture.
A very keen eye for design, and are comfortable working across product and engineering.
Comfortable contributing or pushing back on product if designs aren't technically feasible.
Are a full stack at heart but love the frontend.
Massive Bonus Points if you have:
tRPC
Tailwind
Drizzle
Postgres
* This role will not be for everyone, firstly, it is not remote, as they are an early stage start-up they want to brainstorm in-person. They also need someone with extremely strong opinions, they want an engineer not just an implementer. They want you to question to status-quo. You will be someone whose passion is your engineering, so in your job and in your spare time.
