Key Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar CAD / BIM Technician role Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit Ability to work effectively on own initiative and manage workloads independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with Civil 3D is advantageous A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a proven ability to deliver work right first time Confident, approachable, and self-motivated with a consistent track record of achievement Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) Key Responsibilities: Production of high-quality 2D general arrangement drawings from 3D Revit models and 2D CAD information Preparation of GA coordination drawings Development and maintenance of models and documentation in accordance with company BIM standards, protocols, and procedures Participation in design and coordination review meetings Production and ongoing management of drawing registers and control of drawing revisions Liaison with clients, project managers, and internal design teams to establish project requirements, priorities, and timelines This role will suit a motivated technician who is keen to develop their career beyond pure drawing production and who can work with a high level of autonomy while contributing to multidisciplinary project teams.
