Our client a leading logistics company are looking for a Planning manager for there depot in Dublin North.
Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsibility for the management of customer stock from receipt to final last mile delivery for all customers. Working with our client (But not limited to this)
2. Working with the Operations Manager on operational costs, achieving budget whilst identifying and then delivering cost reduction within the site.
3. Leading planning of all deliveries via last mile hubs
4. Paragon / planning system expert
5. Develop and manage site KPI's in line customer SLA.
6. Provide leadership and direction to the team.
7. Manage the team at your site.
8. Motivate, coach, and develop a high performing Hub team.
9. Proactively plan and engage with other departments to ensure a collaborative approach and effective.
resolution of issues.
10. Be the point of contact for the Customer.
11. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
12. Create and drive a culture of continuous improvement and lead process improvement activities.
13. Manage resources to maximise service and efficiencies.
14. Investigate all system and stock issues.
15. Manage missing reports from customer.
16. Manage damage reports from customer.
17. Lead external suppliers / Subcon relationships and KPI's via agreed review processes.
18. Lead the store trunking operation, port trunking operation, ensuring smooth transport to the hubs Dublin, Athlone and Cork. (Not limited to this.)
Health, Safety, Security, and the Environment:
19. Full responsibility for all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental procedures, ensuring that they are always followed challenging non-conformance.
20. Create and maintain a culture where Health and Safety is priority.
21. Manage all safety documentation and procedures are to standard, updated and fit for purpose.
22. Responsibility for the management and asset care of all equipment within the hub.
23. Ensure Workplace Organisation standards are always adhered to including customer audits.
24. Ensure vehicle compliance is always adhered to.
