Key Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
The following is a list but not limited to what the roles and responsibilities are.
* Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, etc.
* Managing the IT support ticketing system
* Analysing call logs to spot trends and underlying issues
* Responding to breakdowns and user issues
* Investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software and hardware faults
* Repairing equipment and replacing parts
* Attending weekly meetings with the IT Manager to determine priorities and requirements
* Maintaining records of software licences
* Managing stocks of equipment, consumables, and other supplies
* Supporting all users with IT issues
* Ensure that all preventative maintenance on equipment is carried out both efficiently and safely.
* Build effective relationships with all stakeholder groups in the organisation.
* Acts as key point of contact for all IT matters for the Group
* Keep abreast of current trends, developments and issues in information and communication technology, and identify implications or opportunities
About the role
Due to continued growth of the whole Group, our IT team are recruiting for an IT Support Technician to support various projects across the business. The initial role is to fulfil a requirement in our Limerick office, and to support colleagues in all other locations.
Reporting to our IT Manager, the IT Support Technician will be responsible for supporting the operation with new starter set up, 1st and 2nd line support via our ticketing system and any office or departmental moves.

Qualifications and Skills
Skill and Experience
* 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Must have ICT system support or equivalent qualification.
* Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
* Experience in operating a support ticketing system.
* Be capable of working under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Demonstrate a strong aptitude for multi-tasking.
* Proficient in networking configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance.
* Experience with computer and network security
* Strong Teamwork abilities.
* A high level of flexibility may be required to close out tasks
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Continuous professional development will be required as an ongoing part of this role
