Job Description RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.
We are now seeking Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist-Pectus Service (Part Time) for our hospital located in Dublin, Ireland.
Job Title: Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist – Pectus Service Department: Physiotherapy Job Type: Permanent / Part-Time Key Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver a high-quality, efficient Pectus Physiotherapy Service based on patient needs assessment.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational procedures in line with best practice standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging techniques, technologies, and developments to ensure clinical excellence.
Engage in continuous professional development, including participation in clinical audit, research, and data analysis.
Contribute to the overall management of the Physiotherapy Service as part of the Senior Physiotherapy Management Team in collaboration with the Allied Therapy Manager.
Foster positive working relationships through effective communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in staff induction, performance appraisal, and delivery of in-service training programmes.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and statistics in line with organisational, clinical, and legal requirements, including incident reporting.
Regularly review, update, and ensure compliance with Pectus Service policies, procedures, and quality/accreditation standards.
Lead and support staff development by promoting a culture of professionalism, continuous learning, and high performance within the team.
Requirements Must hold a recognised Degree in Physiotherapy.
Must be registered with CORU.
Membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) is desirable.
Must have a minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in Orthopaedic or Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
A relevant postgraduate qualification in Orthopaedics or Musculoskeletal practice is desirable.
Demonstrates expert clinical knowledge and strong clinical reasoning skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Practices in line with current evidence-based standards and delivers a holistic, patient-centred approach within a multidisciplinary team.
Utilises outcome measures to evaluate treatment effectiveness and ensure high-quality care delivery.
Demonstrates leadership through mentoring, staff education, participation in research, and contribution to service planning and development.
Shows strong commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD), with additional skills such as Strength Conditioning considered advantageous, and an understanding of ethical, social, and professional practice contexts.
