The Yardhand will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the yard, assisting customers with loading and unloading materials, ensuring inventory is accurately accounted for, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. The role also includes using equipment such as forklifts and handling deliveries from suppliers.QualificationsExperience in handling building materials and knowledge of construction productsAbility to safely operate forklifts and other yard equipmentStrong organizational skills for managing inventory and yard spaceExcellent customer service and communication skillsCapability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditionsAttention to detail and ability to follow safety protocolsPrevious experience in a similar role is beneficialA valid forklift operating license is a plus
