Job Summary
The role of Patient Care Specialist is to enable individuals to achieve maximum independence in all aspects of daily living. This includes providing assistance with personal care, domestic tasks, social and educational activities, travel, and companionship.
* Providing personal care and domestic assistance
* Supporting individuals with social and educational activities
* Accompanying individuals on trips and outings
* Liaising with other Home carers and ALS Coordinators
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 modules completed of QQI Level 5 in Community Health Services or relevant qualification
* Experience working with people in a caring role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
