Role Overview
We're seeking a skilled WordPress developer to join our team and help build, maintain, and optimise WordPress-based solutions for our clients. You'll work on diverse projects ranging from custom theme development to complex plugin creation, ensuring our WordPress implementations are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities
* Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
* Convert design mockups into responsive WordPress themes
* Integrate APIs and third‑party services (e.g. payment gateways, content feeds)
* Write clean, well‑structured, and testable code
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly
* Work with the team to plan, scope, and deliver new features
* Server management in a CPanel environment
* Email setup, management & support
Requirements
* Proven experience with WordPress and PHP development
* Experience with WYSIWYG WordPress page builders
* Strong understanding of MySQL databases
* Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, React) is a bonus
* Knowledge of version control (Git)
* Ability to work independently, liaise with clients, and meet deadlines
* Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
* Living in Ireland
