Your new company HAYS are recruiting in partnership with a non for profit organisation in the appointment of a a key member of the Finance team, reporting to the Director of Finance. You'll manage a small team and ensure robust financial governance, accurate processing, treasury forecasting, and preparation of statutory accounts. This role is pivotal in safeguarding assets, overseeing credit control, and maintaining compliance with financial policies. Your new role Key Responsibilities: Oversee invoicing, banking, reconciliations, and credit control Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury functions Ensure governance checks and internal controls Prepare draft statutory accounts and liaise with auditors Lead and develop the Finance team Deliver training on financial policies and procedures Essential Criteria: Qualified accountant with supervisory experience OR part-qualified with 4+ years in a similar role Strong knowledge of financial legislation and deadlines IT proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Full driving licence and access to a car for travel across Ireland/UK Desirable: Experience with Netsuite accounting software Additional Info: Role subject to Standard Access NI check.
