Overview
We are seeking a Part Time Accommodation Assistant to join the team at the Keadeen Hotel.
Responsibilities
* Guest Room Servicing
o Clean and prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms daily to hotel standards.
o Change bed linens, make beds, vacuum floors, dust surfaces, and replenish amenities.
o Report any maintenance issues, missing items, or damage to the supervisor promptly.
o Handle guest belongings with care and respect privacy at all times.
* Public Areas & Hygiene
o Clean and maintain public areas including hallways, staircases, lifts, and guest lounges.
o Ensure all areas are clean, safe, and well-presented throughout the day.
* Linen & Supplies
o Manage linen trolley and ensure stock of towels, linen, and guest supplies.
o Report low stock levels and request replenishments as needed.
o Assist in laundry duties when required (collecting, sorting, or folding linen).
* Guest Interaction & Support
o Greet guests courteously and respond to any requests or queries in a helpful manner.
o Inform the appropriate department of any guest complaints or feedback.
* Compliance & Safety
o Follow all Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Fire Safety policies.
o Use cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with training and company guidelines.
o Wear the correct uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
* General
o Attend departmental briefings and training sessions as required.
o Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and support colleagues.
o Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by management.
Requirements
* Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment
* High standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good time management and ability to work under pressure
* Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
* Flexible to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays
* Shift-based role including evenings, weekends and public holidays
