Location: Cork Company: Sentinel Fire and Security Systems Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Sentinel Fire and Security Systems is looking for an experienced Security Systems Installer to join our growing team.
This role involves the installation, maintenance, and servicing of a range of security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, and automated gates.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities Installation and commissioning of intruder alarms, CCTV, fire alarms, access control systems, and automated security gates.
Diagnosing and repairing system faults to ensure full functionality.
Performing routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
Providing excellent customer service and guidance on security system usage.
Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
Collaborating with the wider team to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
Requirements Previous experience in security system installation, maintenance, or related fields.
Knowledge of leading security brands and technologies (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Paxton, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Full, clean driving licence (preferred).
Relevant certifications (e.g., PSA, NSAI) would be an advantage but are not essential.
