On behalf of my client, a leading multinational food manufacturing company, I am recruiting for a
QA Manager on an 8 month contract
. This site-based role will report to the Operations Manager and lead all aspects of quality and food safety within the facility. The successful candidate will manage a small team of quality and technical professionals in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems.
* Lead BRC and customer audits, ensuring compliance and readiness at all times.
* Manage, coach, and develop a technical and quality team to achieve operational excellence.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and customer requirements for food safety and quality.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Serve as the primary contact for external bodies and customers on technical and quality matters.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a technical or quality leadership role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
* Strong expertise in leading BRC audits and managing customer audit processes.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality standards, legislation, and compliance.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
