Workers' Compensation Paralegal
We're looking for an experienced Worker Compensation Paralegal/Demand Writer to manage casework from start to finish, support attorneys in litigation, and serve as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain organized case files, including legal documents, correspondence, and evidence
* Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests
* Schedule and calendar QME/AME appointments using MerusCase Software
* Send appointment notifications to clients, defence counsel, and medical teams
* Conduct reminder and educational calls to clients regarding evaluations
* Handle administrative tasks: faxing, reviewing notices, and file organization
* Manage all phases of Workers' Compensation and Civil Litigation cases
* Train and support onboarding of new hires
Requirements:
* Minimum 3+ years of relevant paralegal experience
* Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
* Proficient in legal software and case management tools
* Effective communicator with the ability to manage client relationships
* Paralegal certificate or relevant degree required
* Proficient in MerusCase software
