Job Title: Food & Beverage Supervisor
We are seeking a passionate and service-driven individual to join our team at The Fig Tree Restaurant.
About the Role:
* Working 5 over 7 days, Monday to Sunday (shifts vary), with opening and closing responsibilities for the restaurant.
* Lead the front-of-house team in delivering outstanding service, welcoming and engaging guests with local insights and tailored recommendations.
* Ensure seamless setup, smooth service flow, and breakdown of service areas while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
* Enhance customer satisfaction through attentive service, creativity, and anticipating guest needs.
* Monitor and improve food and beverage sales through upselling, service excellence, and team coaching.
* Support a positive team culture by promoting collaboration, resolving issues professionally, and fostering a welcoming environment.
* Assist in onboarding, training, and continuous development of team members.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a supervisory food & beverage role within a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for delivering excellence in guest service.
* Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings is a plus.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
