FT is seeking to appoint a
Project/Senior Project Engineer
to join our
Sustainable Infrastructure
team in either our Cork, Carlow or Dublin offices.
The successful candidate will become part of an established and dynamic company, with the opportunity to expand their expertise and broaden their professional experience.
The role provides exposure to a diverse range of projects, including national road schemes, greenways, active travel, public transport projects and major design-and-build schemes.
Responsibilities
Design of transportation projects.
Preparation of reports, preliminary & detailed design, tender documents.
Contribute to the development of projects throughout the project lifecycle.
Work closely with other engineers, technicians, ecologists and environmental scientists within the company.
Ensure compliance with our Quality Assurance and Management Systems.
Take ownership of issues and seek team participation to achieve best solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
NFQ Level 9 qualification is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in the design of transportation projects in Ireland or the UK.
Experience using design standards including TII, DMURS, and Cycle Design Manual.
Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD.
Proficiency in the use of Civil 3D is a plus.
