Quality Manager Overview A progressive manufacturing company based in Wexford is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead its quality systems and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO, and GMP standards. The role involves driving quality assurance across operations, leading audits, managing CAPA processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement quality assurance procedures in line with industry and customer standards. Oversee internal audits, customer inspections, and regulatory compliance. Manage product and process validation, including equipment qualification and cleaning validation. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes. Drive Lean and Six Sigma-based improvements, focusing on visual standards and inspection training. Provide QA support for new product and process introductions. Monitor supplier quality, conduct supplier audits, and ensure traceability of materials. Maintain documentation and report on quality metrics and improvement initiatives to leadership. Requirements Degree in engineering, science, or a related field. Minimum 5 years' experience in a quality role within manufacturing (e.g., pharmaceutical, automotive, aerospace, or food). Strong knowledge of ISO standards, GMP, and CAPA systems. Skilled in leading audits and working cross-functionally with teams. Excellent analytical, communication, and project management abilities.
