About Your New Role
As part of the Aviation team, you will:
* Play a key role in the delivery of high-profile airport infrastructure projects at Dublin Airport.
* Contribute to aviation and other transport-related projects, including roads, rail, and ports.
* Provide technical input for outline and detailed designs, specifications, engineering reports, and Bills of Quantities.
* Perform structural assessments and coordinate civil infrastructure works such as drainage, water supply, ducting, and pavement designs.
* Ensure compliance with relevant Irish and UK standards and regulations.
* Support business development and tendering activities, including client engagement and proposal preparation.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and consultants across Ireland, the UK, and internationally.
What You Will Need for the Role
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Airport Planning or Transport Engineering desirable).
* Chartered Engineer status (CEng, MIEI, or equivalent).
* Minimum six years' experience in design and engineering consultancies.
* Strong technical knowledge of UK and/or Irish transport infrastructure standards and regulations.
* Proven ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
* Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
* Willingness to attend client meetings and industry events across Ireland and the UK.
* Desirable: experience in airport projects (Dublin or Cork), technical lead experience, familiarity with ICAO, CAA, FAA, DIO standards, Civil 3D proficiency, and Spanish language skills.
