About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Funds Company Secretary to join our large, dynamic and high‑performing Company Secretarial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at an early stage in their career to gain hands‑on experience within a fast‑paced funds environment, working alongside senior professionals and supporting a broad portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering client facing high‑quality governance and company secretarial services, while developing their skills and progressing within a supportive and collaborative team.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the administration of a portfolio of companies, including corporate records, filings, anti-money laundering documentation.
Ensuring that the Statutory Registers and corporate documents of each client are maintained in accordance with law and internal policies and procedures.
Arrange directors' and shareholders’ meetings; and attend meetings with senior departmental colleagues and firm lawyers.
Preparation of draft minutes and resolutions.
Obtaining KYC/AML/CFT documentation from clients and intermediaries.
Frequent client contact via email and telephone.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualified or part-qualified Company Secretary with The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland or having completed the Professional Certificate in International Investment Fund Services (IIIFS).
Minimum 2 years’ experience within the Funds/insurers industry is essential.
Familiarity with electronic board material portals is preferable.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work on your own initiative as required and as part of a team.
