The role is
Person in Charge
based in
Cork
and the hours would be
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
.
The overall aim of this role is to ensure the highest quality standard of care is delivered to the service users and to ensure persons with a disability are empowered to achieve their short- and long-term goals while mastering their independent living skills!
Responsibilities
The role of the Person in Charge is to ensure the delivery of high quality, person-centred care and to empower residents to achieve their goals.
Specific responsibilities include:
Lead and manage the service to deliver the highest standard of care in a home-like environment.
Ensure residents are supported to participate in social, religious and recreational activities and stay connected with families and friends.
Maintain a safe, compliant, and enabling living environment in line with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Nursing Degree
(be registered in the relevant Division of the Live Register of Nurses maintained by the National Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or be entitled to be so registered)
OR
Level 8 Degree in Social Care
or have
CORU
registration
AND
Have a
minimum
three years' managerial experience within the Health Sector.
Hold a
recognised Managerial Qualification
(minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
