Join our fabulous team at Tallaght Cross Hotel as Food & Beverage Supervisor.

TheFood & Beverage Assistant is an important position working closely with the Bar, Restaurant & Kitchen Teams.

Tallaght Cross Hotel is nestled right in the heart of Tallaght Cross Town Centre, situated just off the M50, N81 & N7 motorways. With convenient access to & from the City Centre, via the Luas Red Line. The area features retail & apartment living & has the Square Shopping Centre & Tallaght Hospital on either side.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the food and beverage service areas, including the restaurant and bar. This role involves supervising staff, managing customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the food and beverage service areas, including the restaurant and bar. This role involves supervising staff, managing customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Staff Supervision:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant and bar staff.

Schedule and assign tasks to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak hours.

Customer Service

Ensure exceptional customer service by training and coaching staff.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain a positive dining experience.

Inventory Management

Monitor stock levels and ensure timely restocking.

Quality Control

Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Staff Training

Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff on service standards and procedures.

Provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance.

Safety And Hygiene

Ensure staff compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Conduct regular training on food safety practices and proper handling of equipment.

Qualifications And Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.

Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
