Leveraging over 30 years’ experience in the Power and Electronic sector, our expertise in high power electronics and robust product testing is proven to increase product life expectancy.Role OverviewSupports New Energy Product/ Service Introduction activities within the Anecto Power Electronics group.Supporting the capability development activities within the Anecto Energy group.Providing technical support to other groups in the Anecto organisation.Roles & ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Electronic Engineers role is specific to Power Electronic Conversion Technologies with Scope of work split across the following key areas.Energy New Product IntroductionFault Finding on Electronic Control and Power sub assembliesDiagnostics and Debug of Electronic assemblies and componentsReverse engineering of units that original equipment supplier is unwilling to supply information on, or no longer supports.Design of Hardware ( PCB ) supporting New products & /or ServicesLead the development of specific test capabilities required to test and control power units with emphasis on safetyLiaise with external vendors to ensure that bought-in components or services are as required.Ensure that all activities are performed in a manner that ensures safety of all personnel.Working with other team members, ensure that all necessary validation testing and reporting is performed.Project Management to support Business needs.Consultancy ServicesWork closely with customers to ensure that project brief is fully understood and services meet their and Anecto expectations.Development of User Requirement Specifications where applicableWork closely with Sales in the development of proposals and new or non-standard test & methodology protocols.Support Ongoing Test ActivitiesSupport the organization where required in ensuring that all test equipment is fully operationalSupport the organization through the development of incremental and improved test capabilityQualificationsDegree in Electronic Engineering or related field in Power Electronics applicationsExperience5-10+ years relevant Electronic Engineering experience in a Design / Service environmentAnalogue and digital design techniques, design layout and circuit schematic developmentA comprehensive knowledge of microprocessors, memory devices, etc..Understanding of software e.g. C, C++, Python desirableCapability to reverse engineer and produce schematic diagrams on products that have limited diagrams or information availableCapability to develop product test methods and proceduresAttributesInnovative mindsetProject management experience an advantageAbility to work with cross functional teamsStrong interpersonal skillsStrong communications skills, both written and spokenEffective decision makerHealth and SafetyAll aspects of his work conform to Anecto’s and other general Health and Safety rules and requirements.Cover Letter Mandatory: A Cover Letter stating why you feel you would be suitable for this position is Mandatory - Candidates submitting a CV without a cover letter will not be considered for this position.
