We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant based in our Management Accounting department. This department provides outsourced financial management solutions to a range of clients across many sectors. The role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in the largest Chartered Accountants firm in the Southeast and will be located in Co. Kilkenny.
Candidate:
The successful candidate will be ACCA /ACA qualified with a minimum of two years' experience working in a practice / finance environment.

The Role:
Reporting to the department Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring the accurate completion of bookkeeping by clients, ensuring accuracy for monthly account preparation.
- Overseeing the completion of VAT returns, RCT, PSWT as required.
- Analysing and reconciling accounts to trial balance.
- Preparation of monthly / quarterly management reports.
- Month end / Year end close and audit preparation as required.
- Day to day management of multiple clients ensuring key deliverables are met within a timely manner.
- Providing clients with feedback and analysis.
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the team
Requirements for the Role:
- Excellent excel skills.
- Experience with Sage / Xero / Dext / Autoentry is a distinct advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge.
- Commercial awareness with a desire to help businesses achieve their potential.
- Problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to innovate are essential competencies.
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Team player, self-motivated and ability to work on one's own initiative in a fast paced and high-volume environment.
