Base pay range
Job Purpose:
This is a key role within the HR & OD Department, responsible for delivering a broad range of OD activities. This includes HR & OD strategy implementation, the IDA capability model, the IDA Learning Academy, employee engagement, IDA graduate programmes, internal communications, and HR project management.
Key Tasks:
1. Contribute to strategic HR & Organisational Development initiatives aligned with IDA’s 2025–29 strategy.
2. Support and implement change management programmes in collaboration with the OD team.
3. Manage the full cycle of the Employee Engagement Survey and lead post-survey initiatives.
4. Design, deliver, and evaluate IDA Learning Academy training programmes.
5. Oversee graduate programmes (Sales & Marketing and IDA Embark), ensuring high-quality experiences.
6. Implement and manage a learning management/experience platform, including dashboard development.
7. Support the rollout and integration of a new IDA Capability Model.
8. Assist in planning and delivering the annual IDA Conference training day.
9. Review and develop HR policies and procedures.
10. Support recruitment and selection activities, providing feedback to candidates and staff.
11. Create and present HR documentation and briefings to internal stakeholders up to Board level.
12. Ensure IDA’s values and culture are central to all Learning & Development activities.
13. Demonstrate flexibility by supporting additional HR & OD tasks as required.
Additional Requirements:
* A HR/OD third-level qualification, at minimum Level 8 on the National Qualification Framework.
* Ability to work well under pressure, independently, and within tight deadlines.
* Up-to-date knowledge of theory and best practices in:
o Organisational development, especially change management and developing organisational culture.
o Learning & Development, particularly management development and talent management.
o Understanding of Learning Management Systems (advantageous).
* Excellent judgment, confidentiality, and discretion.
* Strong personal effectiveness and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally, with flexible working hours.
* A full driving license is essential.
