We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Relief Early Years Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and implementing high-quality play-based education under the guidance of national quality frameworks.
As a key member of the childcare team, you will promote the welfare of children, provide healthy snacks, and support parental involvement strategies. Your commitment to continuous professional development will enable you to adapt to the evolving needs of the service and drive quality improvements.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver and implement a high-quality play-based curriculum that encourages independence and fosters self-esteem in children.
* Support children's emotional, social, and cognitive development through observation, learning stories, and stimulating activities.
* Provide a safe and caring environment for children by adhering to policies and procedures and conducting risk assessments as necessary.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve service objectives and promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Qualifications and Experience:
* FETAC Level 5 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
* Strong understanding and experience in early childhood education and working with parents/carers.
* Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative, communicate effectively, and collaborate with others.
