What We Need
We’re seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager with strong commercial skills, ideally in professional beauty. You’ll be a relationship builder who can connect with salon owners, retailers, and stakeholders, driving sales while aligning with the values of eco-conscious beauty.
You’ll collaborate closely with our sales, marketing, and education teams to deliver outstanding support, growth strategies, and tailored solutions that help accounts succeed long-term.
What You\'ll Do
You’ll be responsible for managing national accounts, developing sales strategies, and building long-term relationships that deliver sustainable commercial success. This isn’t just about numbers, it’s about fostering loyalty, supporting eco-minded salons and retailers, and growing meaningful partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
* Account Management & Growth
o Manage and grow accounts across salon and retail partners, ensuring sustainable commercial success.
o Develop and execute account plans, sales strategies, and promotional activities that drive growth in line with brand objectives.
o Lead negotiations, business reviews, and joint planning sessions with key stakeholders.
o Identify new business opportunities and support new account acquisition with strong commercial proposals.
* Commercial Collaboration
o Partner with the education and marketing teams to align activity that supports sales and builds brand advocacy.
o Deliver on sales targets while maintaining strong relationships based on trust, transparency, and shared values.
o Analyse account performance, sales trends, and market insights to identify growth opportunities and recommend solutions.
o Act as a key liaison between National Beauty, Davines, and our customers, ensuring best-in-class service and communication.
* Brand Representation
o Represent National Beauty and Davines at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
o Champion Davines’ B Corp values and sustainability philosophy in every interaction.
Skills and Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in area sales management, sales, or business development (professional beauty essential).
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving account growth.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills. Commercially minded with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. Excellent communication and people skills, with a passion for eco-conscious leadership. Self-starter, highly organised, and team player. Full Irish driving license.
