Job Description
The Catering Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and inspiring a large, multi-disciplinary catering team across patient, staff, and hospitality services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing daily operations to ensure timely, high-quality meal delivery aligned with nutritional and therapeutic requirements
* Maintaining and enforcing full food-safety compliance, including HACCP and best-practice hygiene standards
* Supporting HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, performance development, and rostering
* Driving continuous improvement across menus, service delivery, and customer satisfaction
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 5 years leadership experience within catering, hospitality, or contract food services
* Experience within healthcare / hospital environment an advantage
* Strong working knowledge of HACCP and food-safety management systems
* Proven ability to manage a wide range of dietary needs
