We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate financial reporting and management of our company.

Main Responsibilities:
* Month-End Processes: Prepare and post month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Management Accounts: Review and report on monthly management accounts, providing insights into financial performance.
* Tax Compliance: Review VAT and other expenditure tax returns to ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
* Statutory Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of annual statutory financial statements, ensuring they meet all legal requirements.
* Board Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly Board reports, providing key financial data and analysis.
* Audit Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for internal audits, ensuring all financial processes and controls are adhered to.
* Project Reporting: Coordinate and prepare project reports for Steering Group review, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of project finances.
* Vendor and AP Management: Manage vendor relationships and oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
* Accounts Receivable: Oversee accounts receivable management to ensure efficient cash flow and accurate record-keeping.
* General Business Support: Provide financial support to the Executive Management team, assisting with various business initiatives and decision-making processes.
Requirements:
* Newly qualified or Part Qualified accountant
* Experience in a similar role within practice or industry
* Ability to work on own initiative solving issues as they arise
* Excellent communication, listening, and negotiation skills
