ACUVUE Account Manager – Johnson & Johnson – Vision Care UK – Belfast, Antrim, Ireland.
The role supports the ACUVUE® brand across the territory from Londonderry, Belfast to Enniskillen and North Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
Territory & Business Management
Develop and execute a territory plan using sales data, insights, and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities across all customer segments.
Deliver against sales, distribution, and product mix targets across independent, regional, and national optical accounts.
Monitor and evaluate performance on a weekly, monthly, and cyclical basis, taking corrective action where needed.
Customer Engagement & Account Management
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key decision-makers and eye care professionals.
Understand customer needs and deliver tailored commercial and clinical value propositions.
Manage all accounts within the territory, including issue resolution, performance tracking, and long-term development planning.
Influence customers to actively recommend, prescribe, and promote the ACUVUE® portfolio.
Execution Excellence
Deliver high-quality customer interactions aligned to agreed call rates, coverage, and frequency targets.
Use CRM systems effectively to ensure accurate, timely reporting and insight-driven decision-making.
Consistently apply company selling tools, messaging, and category strategies.
Product, Clinical & Market Expertise
Maintain a high level of product and clinical knowledge across the ACUVUE® portfolio.
Successfully complete ongoing clinical and sales capability assessments.
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments, sharing insights with the wider team.
Growth & Partnership Initiatives
Identify and execute joint business plans and initiatives with key customers.
Lead or support new product launches and marketing campaigns within the territory.
Manage customer investments and activities in line with agreed budgets and ROI expectations.
Collaboration & Representation
Work collaboratively with internal teams to support business planning and execution.
Represent J&J Vision Care at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings (including occasional evenings/weekends).
Contribute to a culture of best practice sharing and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Proven track record in customer-facing sales, consistently delivering against targets and objectives in a competitive environment.
Strong commercial discipline and territory management capabilities, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and execute effectively.
Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies that drive business growth.
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage and persuade a variety of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer partnerships, understanding needs and creating value.
High levels of self-motivation, accountability, and organisation, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office tools, ensuring accurate reporting and structured ways of working.
Experience in optical, healthcare, or FMCG environments.
Exposure to key account management or territory leadership.
Knowledge of industry dynamics, KOL engagement, and budget or project management.

Candidates must reside within the territory boundary to optimise travel time.
Compensation & Benefits
Anticipated base pay range: €44,****** – €70,******.
Annual bonus with set target (%) of pay depending on pay grade / location, based on the employee's and company's performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
