Cybersecurity Consulting Advisor required to work on site in Limerick You will provide expert security guidance across a wide range of business areas.
This role is ideal for someone who can combine technical cybersecurity knowledge with strong project and risk management skills to support secure business operations and strategic initiatives.
Key Accountabilities Deliver holistic cybersecurity guidance across network, host, database, application, and people/process domains Support business partners by aligning security practices with organisational policies, standards, and procedures Provide guidance to security champions and business leaders on cybersecurity best practices Offer specialised expertise in one or more cybersecurity domains Key Responsibilities Provide cybersecurity expertise to small to mid-sized projects, supporting senior staff on larger programmes Act as a subject matter expert, contributing to cybersecurity strategy and governance Translate security requirements into practical system, application, and product designs Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure configuration and deployment of systems Help identify and reduce security vulnerabilities through proactive guidance Support the development and implementation of security controls Produce and maintain wiki-based reports assessing cybersecurity processes across the organisation Develop and manage project plans, ensuring structured delivery of security initiatives Apply risk management practices to evaluate and mitigate cybersecurity risks Essential Requirements Strong project management skills, with experience planning and delivering initiatives Proven risk management experience within a cybersecurity environment Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and controls Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience working across multiple domains (network, application, infrastructure, etc.) How to apply For further information please email your details to or call #Limerick25
