Being a part of our parent company means that while we retain the agility and local resonance of a smaller organisation, we also benefit from the strength and scale of our parent company.Principal Objective Of PositionThe Commercial Sales Agent is responsible for managing and growing Certa Irelands Commercial Energy portfolio across new and existing small commercial customers within a call centre environment. The role focuses on delivering profitable growth through high quality outbound and inbound activity, disciplined pricing, strong customer retention, effective cross selling of energy solution, and effective pipeline management, while achieving agreed volume, margin, cpl and productivity targets.This is a structured, performance driven role offering clear targets, strong support and opportunities for progression within a leading Irish energy business.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle inbound and outbound customer calls in line with agreed call centre standards and service levels.Generate new business through structured outbound calling, follow-ups and marketing led leads.Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to order placement.Develop, manage and retain a portfolio of small commercial customers.Deliver against individual targets for activity, conversion, volume, margin and cpl.Provide accurate, compliant pricing in line with approved pricing structures.Identify retention risks and proactively re-engage customers to prevent lapse.Maintain accurate and timely CRM and system updatesCore CompetenciesExperience in a call centre, telesales or fast paced commercial environment (B2B preferred).Proven ability to engage customers via phone and email, including outbound activityStrong commercial awareness with a disciplined, target driven approach.Confident communicator with good numerical and organisational skills.Comfortable using CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics desirable) and Microsoft OfficeExperience in the oil or energy sector is an advantage but not essential.Our ValuesSafety FirstOur priority on safety has always been the foundation of our sustained success in business.
