About This Role
* You will support the Branch Manager in driving sales performance, increasing revenue, and ensuring the store is maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales Performance & Customer Engagement:
o Manage customer enquiries, offering tailored storage solutions and promoting additional products to enhance revenue.
o Follow the full sales process, actively converting enquiries into customers by promoting products and services effectively.
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of unit availability and demand patterns.
o Understand and work towards achieving branch revenue targets.
o Stay informed about competitors and their promotional activities.
o Deliver exceptional service throughout the customer journey, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
o Address and resolve customer concerns, escalating issues when needed.
* Operational Excellence & Store Standards:
o Adhere to all operational policies and procedures, ensuring consistent store standards.
o Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including processing invoices, handling banking, and managing customer contracts.
o Support revenue protection by following debt collection procedures.
o Ensure all packaging and retail stock is fully available, attractively presented, and correctly priced.
o Take responsibility for maintaining the safety and security of the store and its customers.
o Ensure compliance with company-wide policies, including those relating to debt recovery.
o Encourage customers to share feedback using approved platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in retail or telephone-based sales within a customer-facing environment is essential.
* A background in 1-to-1 consultative selling is highly desirable.
* Office administration experience is an advantage.
