Are you aSenior Electrical Engineerwith a background inSubstation Design for Infrastructureprojects looking for your next career step?If so we have a fantastic opportunity in Dublin for aDesign Team Leaderthat could suit you perfectlyYOUR NEW ROLEAs the Electrical Design Team Leader you will be responsible for mentoring, coaching and developing other Electrical Substation Design Engineers to enable them to deliver primary and secondary designs for major power and renewable energy projects across Ireland. You will also oversee the full design lifecycle of substation and grid infrastructure projects.Your key responsibilities will be as follows: -Lead a team of electrical design engineers working on substation projects.Manage design activities including primary and secondary layouts, protection, control systems, and technical documentation.Review and approve designs to ensure technical accuracy, safety, and compliance.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on cost, quality, and schedule.Mentor and support junior engineers, encouraging professional development.Promote a strong safety culture and proactive risk management approach.YOUR SKILLSThe right candidate will need a Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent industry experience and have 8+ years' experience in substation or power system design.
