Wills Bros are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our teams in Limerick, Roscommon and Mayo.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hard working with a 'hands-on' approach to work.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive commercial support for civil engineering projects across Munster.
Produce accurate valuations, cost plans, variations, and final accounts.
Manage subcontractor procurement, coordination, and contract administration.
Track budgets, control costs, and evaluate overall financial performance.
Collaborate closely with site teams, engineers, senior commercial management, and clients.
Carry out detailed cost analysis and proactive risk management.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate procurement.
Monitor project progress against financial targets and resolve any variances.
Compile and present clear reports on project financial status.
Ensure all works comply with applicable regulations and industry standards.
Support the preparation of contract documentation and oversee change management.
Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and deliver reliable valuations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying essential.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within civil infrastructure essential.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
Proficient in the use of COINS, Bluebeam, MS Project software and MS Office suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
