At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a drivenJunior Field Sales Representative to join our client’s growing team based in Dublin 13. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Internal Sales Representative who is looking to progress their career to External Sales to gain valuable training and experience within the construction and building products industry.

Your new role includes:
* Taking part in a 6 month training programme, which will allow you to gain strong external sales experience within the building products market
* Shadowing field sales professionals, taking part in customer visits and learning consultative selling and account management techniques
* Managing customer queries to build rapport with customers
* Developing your own pipeline and following up on warm leads (with help)
* Once your training is completed, you will be responsible for a sales territory and a portfolio of customers
* Delivering on sales targets and building new business
Experience you need:
* Previous experience in internal sales, account management or customer service essential
* Full Irish driver’s license required
* Previous experience with dealing with customers over the phone and by email
