We are recruiting on behalf of a government agency for a Senior BIM Manager to lead the implementation of BIM strategy across a diverse national property portfolio. This is a high-impact role within a multi-disciplinary environment, supporting the delivery of major public sector projects under the National Development Plan.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing BIM processes, managing digital project delivery, coordinating Common Data Environment (CDE) systems, and supporting BIM adoption across architecture, engineering, and asset management teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and rollout of BIM standards, protocols, and documentation in line with ISO 19650 and ISO 9001.Establish and manage a BIM Management Office and support recruitment of BIM support staff.Coordinate BIM implementation across internal and external stakeholders.Oversee BIM model federation, clash detection (3D/4D/5D), and compliance audits.Integrate BIM workflows with estate management systems (IWMS/Tririga).Provide training and mentoring to OPW staff on BIM tools and processes.Manage BIM content libraries, templates, and software strategy.Support procurement of consultants, training providers, and technology platforms.Contribute to NSAI ISO BIM Level 2 certification preparation.Candidate ProfileEssential Experience:Minimum 7 years in construction project delivery, including digital handover.Minimum 5 years in a BIM Manager or Coordinator role.Advanced proficiency in Autodesk AEC Suite (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).Experience with CDE platforms (e.g. Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360).Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and BIM Level 2 delivery.Proven leadership in BIM strategy development and implementation.Skilled in clash detection, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.Desirable Skills:Experience with Dynamo, API development, GIS, and ESRI tools.Strong communication, mentoring, and report writing skills.Familiarity with asset management standards (ISO Qualifications:NFQ Level 8 degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline.Desirable: NFQ Level 9 (Masters in BIM Management), ISO 19650 BIM Certification, Autodesk Revit Certification.Additional DetailsStandard working hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday - Friday.Travel expenses reimbursed per Civil Service rates (pre-approved only).Equipment and software provided on-site.Performance reviews at 3, 6, and 12 months with potential for salary progression.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Free or subsidised travelAbility to commute/relocate:Co Dublin, CO.
