We are seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join a growing team delivering high-quality water and infrastructure projects across East Cork and the wider region. Key Responsibilities
Lead & contribute to the design of civil engineering projects, with a focus on water and infrastructure
Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
Conduct site visits and provide technical support during project delivery
Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices
Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, ideally in water or infrastructure projects
Design experience & proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar)
Experience working with Irish or UK design standards is highly desirable
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it)
Experience in drainage design, water networks, or wastewater treatment projects
Knowledge of project management principles
