The Dublin facility will focus on software development, automotive technology and engineering, adtech, data science, and analytics, developing and implementing high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM’s streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.How You’ll Make An ImpactYou will be joining a team of Test Engineers responsible for testing SiriusXM software and products, including but not limited to in-vehicle infotainment systems and aftermarket SiriusXM products. The Senior Software Test Engineer will design, implement, and execute test procedures, and report (analyze logs, submit tickets, generate reports) to ensure software programs work as intended. This position will be part of the software development team and will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and program managers.What You’ll DoWork with software engineers, program managers, requirements managers, and other product stakeholders to understand product features and the complete set of requirements for the software.Collaborate with development teams to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed.Develop, maintain, and execute test cases to ensure quality and stability of the system throughout the project.Generate testing completion metrics and analysis, as well as status read-outs to upper management.Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test methodologies to ensure exhaustive testing and compliance with software/system specifications.Anticipate potential software problems by creating test scenarios.Qualifications3-5+ years’ experience as a Test engineerExperience in Test FrameworksExperience in test automationExperience with tools such as Jira, Git, and Charles (HTTP proxy / monitor; view HTTP traffic, including requests, responses, and headers)Experience with Consumer or Automotive Client ApplicationExperience with tools for test automation developmentApplication of software development life cycle conceptsKnowledge and application of at least one programming languageMust be 18 years of age or olderGeneral SkillsHistory of working with automation frameworks; analyze logs and report issuesTesting mindset with the technical know-how to automate workTroubleshooting: ability to isolate and troubleshoot technical issues across the full technology stack using automated testing methodologiesAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailKnowledge of object-oriented programming conceptsOur goal at SiriusXM is to provide and maintain a work environment that fosters mutual respect, professionalism and cooperation.
