We are currently seeking to a Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading contractor in Cork to join a major high tech construction project. The Mechanical Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical systems on construction site. This role ensures that all Mechanical work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations

Responsibilities
8. Supervising and managing Mechanical works on-site to ensure compliance with the project specifications and standards.
9. Coordinating with project managers, architects, and other site supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.
10. Overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring that Mechanical systems (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) are installed correctly.
11. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications.
12. Ensuring high standards of workmanship and quality control in Mechanical installations.
13. Conducting and documenting regular quality checks and inspections.
14. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
15. Liaising with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
16. Preparing and submitting regular progress reports to the project manager.
17. Providing technical guidance and support to MEP subcontractors and workers.
18. Ensuring that all MEP installations adhere to relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
Requirements
19. Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
20. Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP supervision, preferably in the construction industry.
21. Relevant certifications in MEP systems, project management, or safety (e.g., NEBOSH, PMP) are advantageous
