Part Qualified Accountant – Co. Offaly | Hybrid (Post-Probation) | 1-Year Contract

Our client, a well-established Irish food company based in Co. Offaly, is seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join their Group Finance team. This 1-year contract offers exposure across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and business partnering within a large and dynamic finance function. Hybrid working is available following successful completion of probation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts for senior leadership and board reporting.
* Support balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting processes.
* Contribute to weekly reporting, KPI analysis, and cost variance analysis.
* Assist with annual budgeting, Capex reviews, and year-end audit preparation.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and ad-hoc finance projects.
Requirements:
* Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with 1–2 years' experience.
* Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or accounting practice environments.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles; IFRS/FRS 102 exposure beneficial.
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, nested formulas); BI tools experience advantageous.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
