Solicitor (Property)

The Solicitor will primarily provide legal advice on a wide range of complex land/property issues related to infrastructure projects, and will advise on commercial and regulatory matters as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice on land/property aspects of EirGrid Group infrastructure projects.
Advise on landowner engagement, acquisition of land rights, exercise of statutory land rights, asset transfer, and land/accountability related disputes with landowners.
Provide legal advice on commercial, planning and regulatory matters affecting the Group.
Deliver effective legal advice in accessible language tailored to the audience.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify legal issues, solutions and efficiencies.
Instruct and manage external legal advisors to maximise value for money and minimise risk and cost.
Participate in legal team initiatives, contribute to meetings and present legal issues in a targeted, commercially focused manner.
About You
Qualified solicitor with 1‑4 years post‑qualification experience in property/land law, preferably within the energy or infrastructure sector or a similar regulated environment.
Proven ability to organise and manage a high workload and handle a wide range of complex legal matters across multiple fields.
Sound commercial and legal judgement, and ability to communicate legal advice in clear, concise terms.
Excellent attention to detail with strong commercial focus and business acumen.
Team player who supports colleagues in delivering company strategy and objectives.
Results‑driven, highly organised, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative.
