Audio Visual Technician
We are seeking both a Junior and Senior Audio Visual Technician to join our Cork team and lead the technical execution of high-quality AV services across live events, conferences, and corporate functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering flawless audio visual experiences.
About the Role
As an AV Technician, you will take charge of the full technical setup, operation, and breakdown of AV systems, including audio, lighting, video, LED walls and projection equipment. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues on-site, and ensuring all technical aspects of an event run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the setup, operation, and dismantling of AV systems at events
* Operate and troubleshoot sound, lighting, video, and projection equipment
* Collaborate with clients and event stakeholders to meet all technical requirements
* Maintain, organise, and track AV equipment and inventory
What We're Looking For
* Experience in the audio visual sector
* Proven track record in managing complex AV systems for live events
* Strong technical knowledge of sound, lighting, video, LED and projection technologies
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure in fast-paced environments
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
