Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Duty Manager at The Grand Hotel, located in Malahide. The Duty Manager will oversee daily operations, lead and support team members, ensure excellent customer service, and resolve issues promptly. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing schedules, coordinating with various departments, maintaining service standards, and addressing guest inquiries and feedback.
Qualifications
* Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills
* Experience in customer service, conflict resolution, and relationship management
* Organizational skills including scheduling and time management
* Ability to handle operational tasks efficiently and adapt to dynamic environments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Formal hospitality management training or equivalent experience is an advantage
* Knowledge of hotel operations and familiarity with health and safety regulations is beneficial
