We are recruiting an experiencedRelief Chef Managerto support our operations across theDublin region.This role is ideal for a food-led professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional standards of food quality and customer service, and who can confidently step in to lead Compass Group Ireland catering operations across multiple sites as required.This is afull-timeposition, contracted to40 hours per week, operating predominantlyMonday to Fridayduringdaytimehours, with a degree of flexibility required to meet business needs.As aRelief Chef Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining consistent culinary and service standards, ensuring kitchens and service counters operate smoothly during periods of cover, mobilisation, or transition. You will play a key role in supporting site teams, driving compliance, and delivering excellent food experiences wherever you are assigned.In return, you will have the opportunity to develop your career with an organisation that invests in its people, values individuality, and recognises those who consistently go beyond the plate while supporting operational excellence across the region.Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludePreparing delicious food to the highest standardsSupervising our culinary and catering teams to ensure we continue to deliver impeccable food and customer serviceOverseeing the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plansCommunicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targetsRepresenting Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand imageIdentifying opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive salesLiaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we continue to exceed expectationsSupporting and training our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their roleImplementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.Our Ideal Relief Chef Manager WillBe passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer serviceHave a minimum of two years of similar experienceHave experience managing teams in a similar roleHold a Basic Food Hygiene certificateDemonstrate brilliant financial acumenHave excellent communication and organisational skillsBe an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskillAt Compass Ireland, our people are our business.
