Role Overview:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our payments platform infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and secure. This position requires a platform engineering mindset and a deep understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure and / or AWS.
Job Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain secure software build and delivery pipelines.
* Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Pullumi, Ansible, or similar.
* Develop and maintain DevSecOps tools to ensure the security and compliance of our software.
* Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our platform.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in software engineering
* Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
* Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (., Pullumi, Terraform, Ansible).
* Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
* Experience with templating tools such as Carvel, Jinja, helm
* Golang programming experience a big plus (will consider candidates with strong skills in Java or Python with a demonstrated ability to learn golang quickly)
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Can work independently as well as collaborate with a high-performing team
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
