Job Description
To operate a fleet of vans and HGVs safely, travelling to customer sites following established safety procedures. This role involves collecting waste, including hazardous materials, and packing it into designated containers or drums.
Additionally, the job entails pumping, flushing and rinsing liquids into suitable receptacles using vacuum tankers for cleaning and flushing vessels.
Confinement space works may also be required as part of this position.
Driving and operating company vehicles, including heavy goods vehicles carrying dangerous substances, is another key aspect of the role.
The role also involves the operation of mechanical and electronic equipment provided by the employer in accordance with supervisor or management instructions.
Key Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking individuals with excellent attitude who will undergo all necessary training to perform the duties of the role effectively. Experience handling chemicals can be beneficial, though not essential.
A valid full driving license and prior experience in heavy industry can also be advantageous.
