Job Overview:
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the commercial and financial management of projects from inception through to final account closure. Key responsibilities include project tender preparation, ensuring accurate and competitive submissions, and collaborative planning with site teams for electrical works scheduling.
* Develop and manage project budgets, guaranteeing cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
* Cooperate with procurement teams to source materials and suppliers, prioritizing quality and value.
* Monitor project expenses, including variations, to ensure maximum return on investment and financial control.
* Coordinate closely with site managers and project stakeholders to facilitate smooth site execution and resolve any issues promptly.
* Prepare and agree interim valuations and final accounts in accordance with contractual obligations.
* Support project handovers, verifying that all contractual requirements are fulfilled.
* Maintain precise records, generate cost reports, and attend regular project meetings with clients.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management is essential.
* Proven experience in a similar capacity within the electrical or construction sector is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and related project delivery methods is required.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills are necessary for success.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software is expected.
* A valid full driving license is mandatory.
