Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team and work in the following areas:
* Bray and all surrounding areas.
* Donnybrook and all surrounding areas.
* Dundrum and all surrounding areas.
* Rathfarnham and all surrounding areas.
* Other related areas in the South Dublin Area.
As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your role will involve:
* Assisting with activities of daily living.
* Personal care.
* Companionship.
* Dementia care.
* Nutritional care.
* Other ad hoc duties.
* Supporting clients with their individual needs as set out in their care plan.
Qualifications
Candidates must have the following qualifications to apply for this position:
* QQI Level 5 care skills and care of the older person completed.
* Working towards full Level 5 healthcare award.
* Valid People Moving and Handling certificate.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate and patient nature.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements for this role
* Minimum one year experience working in a similar role.
* Valid GNIB if applicable and eligibility to work in Ireland.
* Ability to read, speak and write in the English language.
* References from other organisations where care was provided.
* International police clearance if applicable.
* Must be living in Ireland.
